It was a beautiful but slightly chilly day on the 1st March 2009 for Alison And Nick’s wedding in Cwmbran. I was so honoured to be invited to capture the whole day, starting with the brides preparations at her family home. Alison and her family were all so excited by the time I got there, but i’m sure there were a few nerves under the excitement of it all! No-one would ever tell though!

Alison’s dress was gorgeous and as it was St David’s Day the bridesmaids were in green and yellow. It all tied in wonderfully. The Church a lovely little place  was adorned with daffodils and the bouquet was also made up of White and Orange Roses with Daffodils too! So bright and beautiful.

St Peters Church is steeped in history and it’s a fantastic venue to get married and is in a beautiful location in the centre of the valley amongst the Gwent hills. The reception was held in Parkway Hotel, Cwmbran which also is a lovey place for a wedding reception with some great spots for ffofos! The party went on until late at night and the magician was awesome! Check out the ffotos for yourselves…

Since photographing this wedding Alison and Nick have gone on to have a beautiful daughter – Amelie. I was grateful again to be invited to photograph her too. Alison has also branched out into making fab personalised bunting for all occasions and you can check her out on Facebook – http://www.facebook.com/mylilchickadee
