I travelled up the night before to The Bridgewood Manor Hotel, Nr Chatham, Kent for the wedding of Becky and Russell on Good Friday. It was great to meet Becky and Russell the night before to have a final run through of the plans for their big day. Their nerves were certainly showing!
On the wedding day the weather was fantastic, and the beautiful bride was very excited inside that calm exterior. Documenting the whole day we travelled in to Chatham to the local Hairdressers at 9am where the bride to be and her bridesmaid started their preparations for the day. It was so quiet in Chatham that day and the girls got the salon to themselves for most of the time! The proceedings then took us back to the Bridgewood Manor to meet the rest of the bridesmaids getting ready in Becky’s room.
Lola Becky daughter was soooo cute I just could not help taking loads of photos of her during the preparations. The lilac bridesmaids dresses complimented the ivory dress and the girls were looking stunning.
The civil ceremony was wonderful with a beautiful reading and the bride and groom and certainly shaken off the nerves from the night before.
Having the whole event at the Bridgewood Manor gave us the opportunity to use the grounds for the group shots and a few posed Mr and Mrs Shots along with the hotel interior courtyard which was a great feature of the hotel and a bit of a suntrap. The woods created a great backdrop for some great posed shots.
I’m really looking forward to processing more of these shots for this wonderful couple and guys the full set should be available within the next 2 weeks. I hope you enjoy. xx
